
Freed and Greene finish top-five while the team finishes middle of the pack at the Browngolf Intercollegiate

Whispering Pines, North Carolina -- Senior Danielle Freed and sophomore Danielle Greene finished in the top five for the fourth time this season as the women's golf team finished sixth out of 12 at the Brown Golf Intercollegiate Tournament Saturday.
Freed tied for second after shooting an 80 in the first and second rounds. She finished four shots behind the leader who shot a 73 in the second round. Freed has finished in the top two four times this season.
Greene finished fourth after shooting an 81 the first round and an 80 in the second. Greene has finished top five in six straight events this season.
The women's golf team return to the links at the Battle at the Bay tournament on March 26-27 in Rising Sun, Md.
