Orlando, Florida -- The men's tennis team dropped matches against Oklahoma Baptist University and St. Thomas Aquinas College in a difficult schedule that spaced the matches out within 24 hours.
Millersville faced a difficult matchup against OBU at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night. OBU won 9-0 while blanking the Marauders in every game. Millersville took the court again at 12 p.m. against St. Thomas Aquinas Thursday afternoon. The Spartans took every match in their 9-0 victory but faced adversity against senior Christian Boyer and sophomore Christian Akerley. Boyer lost the first game of his singles match 6-2, but he went down swinging in a contentious 7-5 second game. The duo of Akerley and Boyer played hard in their 6-4 doubles defeat.
The Millersville men's tennis team plays their final spring break game against the University of North Georgia in Orlando, Fl. on March 17.
