ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• With an 11-3 record, the Marauders have already topped last season's win total (10-19), and the Marauders are 4-2 in league play after going 6-12 in the PSAC a season ago. The Marauders are coming off a perfect weekend against a pair of PSAC East opponents and now begins PSAC Central Division action against a streaking Shippensburg club. Millersville enters the match tied with Pitt-Johnstown for second place in the division while Shippensburg is at the top of the standings at 6-0. 
Haley Butler is coming off of her top performance of the season. She totaled a season-high 14 kills while committing just three errors (.407) against East Stroudsburg. It was the third time in her last five matches that she has tallied double-digit kills. 
• Millersville continues to lead the PSAC in assists per set at 12.54. The Marauders have employed both Katie Laughman and Grace Dawson in the last two matches. The pair combined for 37 assists against East Stroudsburg with Laughman totaling 28. Against Kutztown, Dawson totaled 16 and Laughman had 15. 
• Along with leading the league in assists, the Marauders are third in the PSAC in kills at 13.07. Erin Harman ranks third and Lindsey Blevins ranks fifth. Blevins has been outstanding as a freshman, posting a .261 hitting percentage. She has hit over .200 in 10 of 14 matches. 

ABOUT THE SERIES
• Since the start of the 2007 season, Shippensburg has won 16 of 19 meetings. Two of Millersville's three wins have come under the direction of Brian Smith. Millersville's last victory over Shippensburg came in 2014. Erin Harman and Kelsi Ceriani were freshmen for the Marauders that season. Harman recorded nine kills and two aces and Ceriani added two kills and three block assists in that match. 

THE LAST MEETING: SHIPPENSBURG 3, MILLERSVILLE 0 (Nov. 8, 2016)
• Shippensburg entered the match with a 24-5 record but Millersville challenged the Raiders in every set (25-22, 25-19, 25-21). Erin Harman delivered 15 kills to just four errors and classmate Kelsi Ceriani recorded 11 kills without an error in 19 attempts (.579) before exiting the third set with an injury. Millersville led the third set as late as 21-20, but Ship scored five in a row to rally for the sweep. 

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Shippensburg enters Tuesday on a roll, having won seven consecutive matches dating back to Sept. 16. The Raiders have won four of the last five in three sets. Since opening the season with three consecutive losses, the Raiders have won 13 of 15 and are the only team in the PSAC unbeaten in league play. 
• Shippensburg does not have a single senior on the roster, but junior Morgan DeFloria and sophomore Samantha Webber give the Raiders two strong hitters, both of whom are averaging over 3 kills per set and rank in the PSAC's top 10. Setter Emily Hangen has recorded 40-plus assists six times already this season and ranks second in the league in assists per set at 10.55.
