ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• After splitting four matches against the PSAC Northwest, the Marauders start a run against the PSAC East this weekend, hosting Kutztown on Friday and East Stroudsburg on Saturday. Success in home matches is crucial if the Marauders are to keep pace in a crowded and competitive Central Division. The Marauders started 7-0 but have since dropped three of the last five. The Marauders are 4-2 in Pucillo Gymnasium.
• Millersville leads the PSAC in assists per set at 12.48, and sophomore Katie Laughman ranks sixth on the individual list, totaling 9.40 per set. Three times this season Laughman has topped the 40-assist mark in a match. Last Friday against Slippery Rock, Laughman totaled a career-high 57, which was the most by a Marauder since 2015. Laughman has six double-doubles, and is third on the team in digs at 3.0 per set.
• Last weekend, Erin Harman joined Allison Huss and hall of famer Jennie Rohrbaugh as the only Marauders to reach 1,000 career kills and 1,000 career digs. Harman is having an outstanding senior season, ranking third in the PSAC in kills per set (3.67), second on the team with 3.15 digs per set and second in service aces with 13. Harman leads the team with seven double-doubles and has two matches with 20-plus kills.
• A trio of Marauder rookies rank among the PSAC leaders. Libero Kat Forry is eighth in digs, Courtney Turocy is third win aces per set, and Lindsey Blevins ranks fourth in kills per set.

ABOUT THE SERIES
• Millersville leads the all-time series with Kutztown by a 30-24 margin and has won six consecutive matches over the Golden-Bears. Millersville scored a 3-1 win in 2016. Kelsi Ceriani and Erin Harman combined for 31 kills as the Marauders hit .244.
• Millersville holds a 40-20 all-time lead over East Stroudsburg in a series that dates back to 1990--Millersville's first season of volleyball. East Stroudsburg topped the Marauders 3-1 in 2016, ending a run of three consecutive wins for the Marauders. Millersville won the second set 25-18 but hit just .075 in the match while ESU totaled 52 kills. Harman led the team with 12 kills and 19 digs.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
• Kutztown is without a PSAC win and have lost five in a row. Three of those losses have come in four sets and seven of the team's losses have come in four. Niki Carpenter is a force at the net, ranking second in the PSAC in blocks. Libero Sydney Wilson ranks sixth in the PSAC in digs and leads the team with 25 service aces.
• ESU is in its first season under head coach Kevin Rodgers and improvement is noticeable. The Warriors went 14-18 last year and are off to a 10-5 start in 2017. The Warriors dropped a hard-fought, five-set match against California its last time out. Courtney Miller has 69 kills but just seven errors, ranking second in the PSAC in hitting percentage.
