ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville volleyball hosts three matches in three days as part of a stretch that includes five home matches in nine days. Millersville must take advantage of home court as each of the last five matches are on the road and include trips to four teams currently in PSAC Tournament contention.
• At 5-4 in PSAC play, the Marauders are currently ninth in the overall PSAC standings and third in the Central Division. Only the top eight teams make the postseason, and Millersville trails that last spot by one win.  Millersville suffered a pair of four-set losses last week to likely playoff teams Shippensburg and West Chester.
• In their last match, the Marauders defeated Cheyney 3-0 and totaled a season-high 19 services aces including nine from
Erin Harman. Millersville leads the PSAC with 2.02 service aces per set.
Courtney Turocy ranks third in the PSAC in aces per set, and Harman ranks fourth.
• Harman also ranks fourth in the league in kills, and her .198 hitting percentage is the best of her career. She has vaulted all the way to third on Millersville's career kills list and trails hall of famer Jennie Rohrbaugh by just 10 for second place. To catch Abby Hafer's all-time record, Harman would need to average 19 kills over her final 11 regular season matches.
ABOUT THE SERIES
• Millersville has won 11 of the 18 match-ups between the non-conference rivals. Each of the last two meetings have gone to five sets with Wilmington winning at home in 2016 and Millersville winning in Pucillo Gymnasium in 2015. Wilmington has won three of the last four.
• Millersville swept the 2016 season series against Lock Haven, winning both matches in three sets. It snapped a five-match skid for the Marauders against the Bald Eagles. It was the first time in program history that Millersville took two from Lock Haven in a season.
• Millersville and Pitt-Johnstown went nearly a decade (2004-2012) without playing, but since UPJ joined the PSAC, it is 6-1 against the Marauders with six consecutive wins. Millersville has won at least one set in two of the last three matches.
THE LAST MEETING: WILMINGTON 3, MILLERSVILLE 2 (Sept. 7, 2016)
• Millersville rallied from a two sets to one deficit to force a deciding fifth set and was within three points of closing out a road victory. But the Wildcats scored the final five points of the match for a 3-2 win over the Marauders by scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-10, 25-27, 15-12. The Marauders received 41 assists and 14 digs from sophomore setter
Grace Dawson and a career-high 14 kills from freshman
Haley Butler.
THE LAST MEETING: MILLERSVILLE 3, LOCK HAVEN 0 (Nov. 12, 2016)
• Millersville closed its 2016 season with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 28-26) road sweep of Lock Haven. received 13 kills and 12 digs from
Erin Harman while holding Lock Haven to a -.055 hitting percentage--the lowest by a Millersville opponent all season.
Renee Drawbaugh contributed three service aces.
THE LAST MEETING: PITT-JOHNSTOWN 3, MILLERSVILLE 0 (Nov. 11, 2016)
• Pitt-Johnstown (totaled 40 kills to Millersville's 28, five aces to Millersville's one, and held a 6-1 edge in blocks. The Mountain Cats hit over .300 in all three sets, finishing with a .337 attack percentage while limiting Millersville to a .046 attack percentage, including a -.037 percentage in the first set. Millersville committed 23 errors.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
• Wilmington has won four of its last five matches and most recently swept winless Dominician. Jill Braunsberg is the top offensive threat, averaging 2.01 kills per set on a .195 hitting percentage. Rebecca Rawlison Eile Harris form a formidable front line, combing for 137 blocks. Five Wildcats have at least 23 service aces.
SCOUTING THE BALD EAGLES
• Shaye Whiteman is among the top liberos in the PSAC, averaging a league-best 7.39 digs per set. Breanna McDonald leads the Bald Eagles in kills (215) and ranks fourth in the PSAC with a .341 hitting percentage. Setter Kristen Nealon ranks fourth in the PSAC in assists per set, and Chloe Williams is third in the league in blocks per set (1.1).
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN CATS
• The Mountain Cats have won three in a row after a four-set loss to West Chester on Oct. 7. Pitt-Johnstown has been swept just once all season, and that came on Sept. 2 against Ashland. UPJ's .232 hitting percentage is best in the PSAC. Caitlin Vrabel (.356) ranks second in the PSAC in that category. Service aces do not come easily against UPJ as it is allowing less than one per set.
