Bradenton, Fl. - For the second straight year Millersville women's track and field will be represented by Erin Madison and Amanda Myers at the NCAA Division II Championships. The championships will be held May 26-28 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Madison will run the 400-meter hurdles and Myers will throw javelin for the Marauders.

Erin Madison has now qualified for the outdoor championships in the 400-meter hurdles three years in a row. Madison won the event at the PSAC Championships running a 1:00.99. Madison's fastest 400-meter hurdles time in 2016 came at the Bison Invitational on April 16 when she ran a 1:00.50. In 2015, Madison became the first All-American outdoor hurdler in Millersville history and finished 13th at the NCAA Championships with a time of 1:00.80.

Amanda Myers is coming off her best performance of the year coming in 2016 as she threw a 149-11 and finished fourth overall in the PSAC Championships. Myers, the 2015 PSAC Freshman of the Year, placed 13th overall in the NCAA Championships with a mark of 142-3.

Madison will run in the prelims of the 400-meter hurdles which is scheduled for 8:40 p.m. on Thursday with the finals scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
