Mercyhurst Sweeps Marauders in Tennis Action

Lancaster, Pa. - Weather forced Saturday's tennis matches indoors at the Raquet Club West in Lancaster and visiting Mercyhurst scored 9-0 wins over Millersville in both men's and women's action.
The men's match was a PSAC bout. The win improved Mercyhurst to 9-4 overall and 4-0 in league action while Millersville fell to 1-9 overall and 0-4 in league play. Mercyhurst swept all three doubles matches and did not lose a set in singles.
The women's match was a non-conference contest. Mercyhurst moved to 10-4 while Millersville fell to 5-9. Mercyhurst won four of the six single smatches by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
The women's team returns to action on April 12 at home against East Stroudsburg. The men and women travel to West Chester on April 14.
