GAME NOTES• The Millersville softball team enters this weekend with its sights set on Kutztown and East Stroudsburg after sweeping Shippensburg on March 31. The Marauders travel to Kutztown on Friday in a battle of the second and third place teams in the PSAC East standings. Millersville and Kutztown own identical 4-2 records within conference play. The Ville will then host East Stroudsburg at the Millersville Softball Field on Sunday. The Marauders are 3-1 at home this season.

Brianna Andraos and
Cassidy Pinchorski turned in a pair of dominant pitching performances and the offense cranked out a combined 15 hits in the two-game sweep of Shippensburg. Andraos twirled a four-hit complete game shutout and struck out three while only allowing six runners on base with no Raider advancing past second. Andraos has six shutouts on the season, which ranks first in the PSAC. Pinchorski (9-4) scattered 10 hits and struck out five across 6.2 innings of work and her 66 strikeouts on the season ranks 11th in the PSAC.

Mandy Hammond was held hitless against Shippensburg, but her .432 batting average ranks within the top-50 in Division II and is the seventh best mark in the PSAC. Hammond has produced 11 multi-hit games so far this season and owns a .443 on-base percentage.
• Millersville has consistently made solid contact at the plate this season and have a combined team batting average of .288. Four of the Marauder regular starters:
Mandy Hammond,
Megan McCurdy,
Brittany Smith and
Heather Lutz own batting averages above .300. Millersville has also got solid production from
Melanie Snyder and
Jamie Trewhella who each own batting averages over .400 in limited playing time. Trewhella is 10-for-23 (.435) at the dish and Snyder is 9-of-21 (.429).

Heather Lutz has been on a tear at the plate steadily improving her batting average to its current .341. Lutz slapped three doubles against Shippensburg and has eight on the season from her lead-off position in
Jen Probst lineup. Lutz has already surpassed career highs in triples (2), RBIs (13), stolen bases (3) and has yet to commit an error in her 119 career games played.
• When looking at the PSAC statistical rankings, the Marauders rank seventh in the conference with its .288 batting average, 10th with 124 runs scored, fifth in doubles (41) and eighth in team ERA (3.01).
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT• East Stroudsburg was 10-5 entering its home doubleheader with Millersville on March 25, but after getting swept the Warriors have only won four of their last 10 games and have yet to pick up a PSAC East victory.
• East Stroudsburg's pitching staff is solid with three pitchers (with at least three starts) holding an ERA of 4.00 or lower. Rachel Liguori, with a 7-7 record and 3.78 ERA is the staff ace striking out 64 across 83.1 innings. The lefty struck out a season-high 12 batters in her previous start against the Marauders, but also surrendered eight hits and two unearned runs in the 2-0 ESU loss.
• The team is hitting .297 and has hit 24 home runs, which ranks fifth in the PSAC. The Warriors are extremely active on the base paths, totaling 61 stolen bases on the season. Haley Thomas, Heather Visco and Samantha Pickar all enter with batting averages over .320.
