Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville wrestling team fell to Wheeling Jesuit by just a single point Friday night as the Cardinals won 20-19 by criteria.

Austin Camacci, Thomas Nulty, Nick Mancini, and Kyle Narber all notched victories for Millersville.

Austin Camacci set the tone for Millersville early as he squared off against Dustin Warner. After trailing Warner 4-3, Camacci scored a reversal to go ahead 5-4 and never looked back, extending his lead to 13-4 and eventually earning a vicotry by major decision (16-6).

It was Thomas Nulty's last match in Pucillo Gymnasium, and the senior took on Damon Outward. Nulty trailed 2-0 before flipping the script and going up 3-2. After extending his lead to 9-2, Outward charged back and took a 10-9 lead. Nulty responded immediately and jumped out on top 14-9. Outward would not go away easily however as he tied the score at 14 before Nulty pinned him with just 36 seconds to go in the third round.

Nick Mancini faced off against the Cardinals Dean Meyer. Meyer jumped out to a 2-0 lead and extended it to 4-1. Mancini would respond in the second round, cutting the deficit to just one before scoring a reversal to take a 5-4 lead. Mancini would finish off Meyer by pinning him at the 3:52 mark.

Kyle Narber established control early against Sawyer Leppla and lead 4-1. Leppla mounted a comeback and tied the score at 4 to start the second round. After Leppla scored a takedown to take the lead, it was Narber's turn to tie up the score. With the match knotted up at 6, Narber scored a takedown to earn the 8-6 victory.

After Terrance Fanning defeated Colton Dull, Millersville lead 19-16 going into the final match where Logan Bowman and the Marauders David Wuesnter faced off. Bowman took a 1-0 lead before Wuesnter tied it up at 1. Bowman countered Wuestner's takedown attempt and took a 3-1 lead and eventually finished with a 5-2 decision. With the team scores tied at 19, Wheeling Jesuit earned an extra point to win by criteria.

Millersville falls to 6-7 on the season and will wrestle next Thursday at Frankling & Marshall at 8:30 p.m.
