LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — Following a breakout season at 141 pounds, Nick Cottone was named All-PSAC First Team, and his teammates Bryce Beatty, Andrew Vogelbacher, and Cole Dubois earned spots on the All-PSAC Third Team. This marks the first time these Marauders have received this accolade.
Cottone, a redshirt freshman, placed second at the NCAA Super Region 1 Championships, securing his first berth to the NCAA Championships. Cottone boasted a 19–8 record, and of his 19 wins, 11 were bonus-point wins with four falls, three technical falls, and four major decisions.
Beatty (125) capped off his collegiate career by posting his best season. He placed third at the Super Region 1 Championships with a 3-1 record, earning his first berth to the NCAA Championships. The senior finished his career with a 58-44 record including a 21-10 mark in his final season, with four falls and three technical falls. Beatty ranks fourth in program history with 10 technical falls.
Vogelbacher (174) fought through adversity early in the season to finish on a high note. The redshirt junior posted a 9-7 record with two major decisions. Vogelbacher wrestled in the most challenging bracket at the Super Region 1 Championships with three other nationally ranked wrestlers in his class. Despite these challenges, he managed a fourth-place finish.
Dubois stepped into the 184-pound starting role as a redshirt freshman. He posted a 14-9 record with six bonus-point wins including one pin, two technical falls, and three major decisions. At the Super Region 1 Championships, Dubois went 3-2 to take fifth place.
Millersville's four honorees are the program's second most in a season since the coaches' vote began in 2010.
