HOT START
• After a 2015-16 year in which the Marauders started 1-4, Millersville has begun its 2016-17 campaign with two victories. Millersville opened the season up with a 76-55 win over Lincoln and followed it up with a 75-62 victory over Virginia State and cracked the D2SIDA Atlantic Region Top 10.

Celeste Robinson led the way against the Lions Friday, scoring 23 points and totaling seven rebounds. Four Marauders scored in double figures, with
Alayah Hall registering 14 points and five assists.
• In Saturday's contest against Virginia State, three Millersville players recorded 19 points with
Aunjel Van Brakle leading the way with 12 rebounds. Hall and Robinson were the other pair to score 19 points, adding seven and five rebounds respectively.Â
SCOUTING THE FIGHTING SCOTS
• After beginning the season 0-2, Edinboro picked up its first win of the year over Daemen College, outscoring them 90-59 on Wednesday. The Fighting Scots had three players reach double figures including Katie Fischer who racked up 29 points. Â
• Fischer is averaging 13.7 points per game while Ciara Rosten, who had eight points and six rebounds against Daemen, is averaging 11.3 points per game. Fischer is also a threat from beyond the arc, going 9-18 from three-point range in the young season.
• Edinboro has been solid on the glass, outrebounding opponents 126-115 and are led by Maggie Moore who is pulling down eight rebounds a game.Â
THE LAST MEETING: EDINBORO 65, MILLERSVILLE 58 (Dec. 2017, 2014)
• When these two met in Edinboro two seasons ago, it was the Fighting Scots who came out on top to give head coach Stan Swank his 500th career victory.Â
• Despite Millersville keeping the game close, Edinboro led 29-25 at the half before outscoring the Marauders 36 to 33 in the second.Â

Aunjel Van Brakle and
Courtney Hinnant both contributed to the scoring, with 12 and seven points respectively while Whitney Allen was one of the few players still on the roster that saw action against the Marauders. Â Â
SCOUTING THE LAKERS
• Mercyhurst began their season with back-to-back victories over West Liberty (69-53) and Notre Dame College (73-48).
• The Lakers have three players averagin double figures in points in Angela Heintz, Natalie Piaggesi, and Jalin Steel. Heintz, who is averaging 18 points, scored a team-high 19 points against West Liberty and 17 against Notre Dame.
• Steel is a threat from beyond the arc, going 6 for 12 from three-point range to start the season.
• On the glass it is a team effort for Mercyhurst, as the Lakers boast seven different players who are averaging more four or more rebounds per game.Â
• Mercyhurst currently stands at 2-0, but plays at Cheyney Saturday before heading to Millersville Sunday.Â

• The last time these two teams met, it was the Marauders outscoring the Lakers 30-23 in the second half to edge out Mercyhurst by two.Â

Alayah Hall were the only current players to see action in that matchup. Hinnant had a big game, registering a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.Â
