Millersville, Pa. – Redshirt junior Kiara Allen is one of 18 athletes competing for a 60-meter national title at the 2015 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala. The entire event will run from March 13-14 and is being hosted by the Birmingham CrossPlex and the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Allen placed second in the 60-meter dash at the PSAC Championships on March 1 with a time of 7.64. It was her preliminary time at the championships that qualified the Harrisburg Pa., native for the national meet. Allen finished the sprint in 7.60 which represented the top time in PSAC Championships history, as well as shattered her school record by 0.10.
Allen's preliminaries are scheduled to begin on Friday, March 13 at 3:45 p.m., and if she qualifies for the finals, she will run on Saturday, March 14 at approximately 3:45 p.m. Below we have provide you with all of the information on the Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships including heat sheets, ticket information, schedule of events, and the link for live results.
