Baseball and Softball Set Military Appreciation Day for Friday, April 18

Millersville, Pa. - Military Appreciation Day is set for Friday, April 18 as baseball welcomes Mansfield and softball plays host to West Chester.
At both Cooper Park and at the Millersville Softball Field, t-shirts will be sold with all proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. Other promotional items will be given out as well at both sites. Baseball's doubleheader is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch while softball's doubleheader begins at 2:30 p.m.
The Wounded Warrior Project was founded in 2003, and its purpose is to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist each other and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
