Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Bloomsburg, Pa. - Bloomsburg scored 10 runs on nine hits to take game one 10-1 and walked off in the eighth inning of game two, 4-3, to complete the two-game sweep over Millersville softball.

The Marauders (16-20, 6-12 PSAC East) have lost four straight and eightof their last nine while the Huskies (15-10, 7-5 PSAC East) won the season series 3-1 and swept their opponent for the first time since March 22.

GAME ONE RECAP
Millersville got on the scoreboard first in game one when Maria Spinosa brought home Jordan Sheffield from second with an RBI single. Over her last five games, Spinosa has been on a tear hitting .313 (5-for-16) with a run scored and two RBIs.

However, Blooomsburg scored four runs in the second, six more in the third and won game one after five innings with the mercy rule. They chased Brianna Andraos (11-10) after 2.2 innings who gave up eight runs, five earned, on six hits with two walks and one strikeout. In relief, Ashley Cantiello went an inning and a third while surrendering two runs, neither of which were earned as the Marauders had three errors in the first contest. 

Taylor Parker (8-5) avenged her 1-0 loss at Millersville on Wednesday and gave up just the one earned run on three hits to go with six punchouts and four free passes.

Spinosa was the only Marauder with multiple hits as she was 2-for-3 at the dish. The Black and Gold stranded eight runners in the first game to five by the home team.

GAME TWO RECAP
In the day's rematch, the Huskies scored one in the second and two in the third to take a 3-0 advantage early, but Millersville didn't go away quietly.

In the top of the fourth, Danielle DiFilippo smashed her second home run of the season, a solo shot over the fence in left field. Two innings later with one out in the sixth, Heather Lutz smacked her league-leading 14th double down the left-field line and a single from Spinosa put runners on the corners. Brittany Smith singled home Lutz and Cantiello followed suit by bringing in Spinosa with a base-knock of her own and the game was tied 3-3.

Mallory Tomaschik (3-2) relieved Bloomsburg's starter Sarah Bertoni beginning in the top of the seventh and retired six straight Marauders. In the bottom of the eighth, Hannah Moir hit a one-out single, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt and came in to score on Chrissy Belko's walk-off single.

Amanda Wink (2-8) was saddled with the loss after she gave up four earned runs on seven hits with two walks and one strikeout.

Millersville takes a break from conference play with a rescheduled doubleheader against Goldey-Beacom on Monday beginning at 2:30 p.m.
