Hilton Head, S.C. - The women's tennis team headed into Wednesday's matchup with William Jewell hoping to get back into the win column. The Cardinals had other plans, beating the Marauders 9-0.
Melissa Plowman and Kelsey Waite both extended their matchups to three sets apiece, but no other teammate could take more than two games. Kristen Stivers beat Plowman 6-0, 4-6, 10-5, while Hana Lindbloom dropped Waite with scores of 6-0, 3-6, 10-5. In doubles play, Elizabeth Wagner and Tori Davis dropped their No. 2 matchup with Loree and Conner Hazelrigg 8-6.
Millersville has one more match on its spring break trip, Thursday against Indiana (Pa.) in a 3 p.m. start time.
