
Women's Tennis Dropped by Wisconsin-Eau Claire

Hilton Head, N.C. - Seeking their first win on their spring break trip to Hilton Head, the Marauder women couldn't come away with a win Monday against Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The Blugolds beat Millersville by a 9-0 score.
Melissa Plowman was the only player to come away with more than one set win in both of her sets during singles play. Plowman lost to Taylor Hetne in the lineup's top spot by margins of 6-4, 6-3. During doubles play, Plowman and partner Kelsey Waite came out on the wrong end of an 8-6 decision against Heltne and Katie Gillman.
Millersville's loss drops the team's record to 3-4 on the season, lifting UWEC to 11-2. The Marauders' next match is Tuesday against Nebraska Wesleyan, starting at 11:30 a.m.
