Kutztown Keeps Perfect Division Mark at Marauders' Expense

Millersville, Pa. - Millersville and Kutztown evenly split the singles matches, but Kutztown's 3-0 advantage in doubles was the difference in Tuesday's PSAC East match at McComsey Tennis Courts.
Kutztown (7-7, 4-0 PSAC East) improved to a perfect 4-0 in the PSAC Eastern Division with the victory while the Marauders (4-10, 2-2 PSAC East) slipped to 2-2.
All three doubles matches went to Kutztown. The No. 1 team of Hannah Pipkin and Ridhima Borooah improved to 8-2 and dropped Millersville's Melissa Plowman and Samantha Prager to 9-5 on the season by an 8-2 score.
In singles action, Plowman picked up a point for the Marauders by dispatching Pipkin, 6-4, 6-2. In the No. 4 spot, Kelsey Waite defeated Chelsea White, 6-3, 6-3. Elizabeth Wagner also scored a point for Millersville with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Stefanie Fisher in the No. 5 spot.
Millersville continues PSAC East play Saturday at home against West Chester.
