Millersville, Pa. - Mercyhurst spoiled Senior Day for the Millersville women's tennis team Saturday. The Marauders received a win from Kara Fisher, but the Marauders fell by an 8-1 score.
Fisher, a graduate student playing in her final home match, topped Rebecca Haener for a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles. That was the only point Millersville could manage.
The Marauders' record fell to 6-11 while Mercyhurst's improved to 12-6.
Samantha Prager was Millersville's other senior. Prager, a four-year member of the program, has played as the team's No. 1 and No. 2 singles player for four years.
Millersville closes the regular season Sunday at Philadelphia before traveling to Kutztown Tuesday for the start of the PSAC Team Championship.
