Connecticut College Deals Loss to Men's Tennis

Hilton Head, S.C. - Preetham Moras and Jody Sambrick Jr. did their parts but the Millersville men's tennis team fell to 1-4 with a 6-3 loss to Connecticut College Wednesday.
Moras (No. 1) and Sambrick (No. 3) notched wins in singles action and the tandem combined for a win at No. 2 doubles.
Moras needed extra sets to beat Jeff Weisberger. He won the first set 6-4 but Weisberger won the second by the same score. Moras then edged Weisberger in the third 12-10.
Sambrick took down John Cangelosi in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. Sambrick is now 4-1 on the year.
In doubles, Moras and Sambrick defeated Cangelosi and George King by an 8-6 count.
Connecticut College improved to 3-0 with the win. Millersville closes its spring trip to Hilton Head Friday against Missouri Valley College.
