Kutztown, Pa. - Kutztown stayed perfect in the PSAC with a 9-0 win over Millersville Tuesday afternoon. Millersville dropped to 2-2 in league play with the loss.
Kutztown, a perennial favorite in the league, improved to 2-0 in the league and 8-3 overall. Despite, the loss, the Marauders remain in solid positioning for the postseason as they are now positioned in third place. The top four teams qualify for the PSAC Tournament.
The Golden Bears won five of the six singles matches in straight sets. In doubles, Kaushik Das and Arijit Goswami knocked off the defending PSAC Doubles champs, Preetham Moras and Drew Slocum, 8-6. Kutztown went on to sweep the doubles bouts.
Millersville travels to West Chester for a PSAC match-up Friday.
