Hilton Head, S.C. - For the second day in a row, the Millersville women's tennis team was handed a 9-0 loss. On Tuesday, Baldwin-Wallace earned the win over the Marauders.
Millersville fell to 2-3 overall while Baldwin-Wallace improved to 6-6.
Millersville's top two doubles teams both lost closely contested matches. The No. 1 team of Sam Prager and Melissa Plowman was edged Caitlyn Pecinovsky and Rebecca Mittler, 8-5. Jenny Greene and Emily Pelosi defeated Millersville's Kaeley McCabe and Shauna Powers, 8-4.
In singles, Plowman was edged by Pecinovsky 7-6 (7-5) in the first set, and then was defeated 6-3 in the second.
Millersville has an off day tomorrow, and returns to action on Thursday in Hilton Head against Olivet.
