Millersville, Pa. - The PSAC Eastern Division opener for the Millersville women's tennis team could not have gone any better. The Marauders swept Cheyney by a 9-0 score without dropping a single game.
Millersville improved to 4-5 overall, 1-0 in the division and to 13-0 all-time against the Wolves.
The Marauders won all five contested singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Allison Meyer and Alexandra Heller each won in their Millersville debuts.
In doubles, Melissa Plowman and Kaeley McCabe teamed in the No. 1 flight for a 8-0 win. Heller and Kelsey Waite paired in the No. 2 flight for an 8-0 win.
The Marauders host Bloomsburg in PSAC East action on April 1 at 3 p.m.
