Bloomsburg, Pa. - The Millersville men's tennis tandem of Drew Slocum and Andrew Sorgi made an impressive run to the semifinals of Sunday's ITA Atlantic Regional at Bloomsburg before falling to the tournament's top seeded team.
Slocum and Sorgi won their opening match on Saturday, and on Sunday, they dispatched W.Va. Wesleyan's No. 1 team 8-5 in the quarterfinals. The two Marauders' run was ended in the semis by Kutztown's Jonathan Goulet and Arpit Sharma, who entered the tournament as the No. 1 seed.
In singles action, Slocum, Sorgi and Tyler Reppert were all eliminated in the second round after winning their opening matches on Saturday.
Play at the regional was suspended Monday because of rain.
