Lock Haven, Pa. – The Millersville women's volleyball team was swept by Lock Haven Friday evening in conference action, marking the Lady Eagle's 20th straight win of the season.
The sets were taken by scores of 25-8, 25-17 and 25-18. Freshman Corrine Marquess led the Marauders (12-25, 4-12 PSAC) with six kills and two services aces. She also added a solo block.
The Lady Eagles (28-4, 15-2 PSAC) were impressive offensively, with Kim Windstein posting a solid .889 attack percentage and Xuan Gao tallying a match high 10 kills. Fabiana Gomez also slammed a match high 20 service aces for Lock Haven.
For the Marauders, freshman
Katie Galuska collected a team high five digs, and senior
Meredith Sinback added 13 assists and one block.
Millersville remains on the road for its second PSAC match-up of the weekend at East Stroudsburg. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m.
