Kutztown, Pa.- The Millersville women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to PSAC East foe Kutztown on Friday evening by scores of 25-18, 25-22 and 25-19.
Millersville (11-19, 3-10 PSAC East) had eight players finish with kills and seven with digs in the defeat. The squad was paced by sophomore
Allison Huss, who finished with a .206 hitting percentage and 14 digs. She also added two service aces on the night.
Trailing 1-0, the Marauders took an early lead in the second set, but Kutztown (10-8, 3-7 PSAC East) quickly responded. Defensively, Millersville notched 76 digs and two blocks. Senior
Meredith Sinback collected 30 assists and contributed 15 digs.
Millersville remains on the road for two games Saturday, against West Chester at 2 p.m. and Glenville State at 4 p.m.
