Millersville, Pa.- On Tuesday Oct. 20, the Millersville women's volleyball team will host the “Dig Pink” match in recognition of breast cancer awareness month.
The squad will wear pink uniforms in addition to other pink accessories. The team is encouraging all fans to wear pink as well.
Pink Millersville t-shirts adorning the Dig Pink logo will be sold for $10, as well as $2 pink bracelets. The team will also be collecting donations. The main goal, however, is to raise awareness of the disease. All proceeds from the event will go to the Side-Out/Dig Pink Foundation, a rally involving volleyball clubs across the country to raise funds and awareness.
The Marauders face PSAC East foe Shippensburg in Pucillo Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
