East Stroudsburg , Pa. – The Alderson-Broaddus women's volleyball team used their strong attack to hand Millersville its' second loss in as many days Saturday morning in a 3-0 sweep at East Stroudsburg University.

The Marauders (1-6) were lead in defeat by junior outside hitter Emily Biresand freshman hitters Gillian Hollen and Devin Fortney . Bires led the team with eight kills while Hollen and Fortney each pitched in four kills apiece.

Junior setter Meredith Sinback paced the Marauder defense with 14 digs and provided 22 helpers.

The Marauders will complete their four-game stretch on the road with a game at Philadelphia University on Tuesday, September 16 beginning at 7 p.m. The Marauders then return home next Saturday, September 20, for a tri-match with Lock Haven and Bloomfield.
