West Liberty Hands Marauders 6-3 Defeat

West Liberty, W.Va. - The Millersville women's tennis team suffered its fourth-straight defeat Tuesday afternoon, falling on the road at West Liberty State, 6-3. Millersville, after starting the season 4-0, has not registered a dual victory since Sept. 20.
The Marauders were forced to shuffle their lineup because of injury and West Liberty took advantage, sweeping all three doubles matches and winning No. 1 through No. 3 singles. Millersville received victories from Samantha Souders at No. 4 singles, Michelle DeStefano at No. 5 singles, and Kacy Talone, playing at No. 6 singles, earned her first win of the season.
Millersville, now 5-6 in duals on the season, travel to Bloomsburg Friday for the start of the PSAC Individual Championships.
