West Chester , Pa. – The Millersville University women's volleyball team dropped 3-0 decisions to both Mercyhurst and Slippery Rock at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossovers at West Chester University Saturday.

The Lakers defeated Millersville by scores of 25-12, 25-20 and 25-23. Slippery Rock handled the Marauders in three sets as well winning by 25-15, 25-11 and 25-13 scores.

Freshman outside hitters #Devin Fortney# and #Allison Huss# led the Marauders in defeat. Fortney recorded 15 kills and Huss delivered 16 over the three-match weekend.

The Marauders will take the court again Tuesday, October 7, when they travel to Shippensburg to begin the second half of their PSAC Eastern Division schedule. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
