Lock Haven, Pa. – The Millersville women's volleyball team became another victim on Lock Haven's tear through the PSAC East this fall, as it fell 3-0 to the homestanding Lady Eagles on Tuesday night.
Lock Haven (24-4, 10-0 PSAC East) remained the lone unbeaten in PSAC East play by quickly desposing of the Marauders (9-16, 2-8 PSAC East) in sets one and two.
Millersville trailed 4-3 in set one before Lock Haven went on a 6-0 run and eventually broke it open to win 25-13.
In set two the Marauders were overwhelmed as the Lady Eagles cruised to a 25-5 win. Millersville put up a valiant effort in set three, but fell by a score of 25-20.
The Marauders return to action next Tuesday against the Cheyney Wolves. Tuesday's match-up marks the final home match of the 2008 season. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
