Women's Tennis Bounced at PSAC Championships

Bloomsburg, Pa. – Millersville's women's tennis contingent was eliminated from play in the first round of the PSAC Individual Championships Saturday in Bloomsburg, Pa.
Millersville's doubles team of Andrea Konas and Jenny Habecker were defeated 8-2 by Mercyhurst's McLean and Meghan Raynor.
The only two Marauders to compete in singles were also downed in the opening round. Konas fell to Axelle Fernandez of California (Pa.). Lindsay Knappenberger was topped by Clarion's Kassie Leuschel, 6-1, 6-2.
Action at the PSAC Championships continues Sunday afternoon.
