Nicole Hinkle was announced as the head coach of the Millersville women's lacrosse program on Sept. 24, 2025.
Hinkle came to Millersville after five seasons as the head coach at Misericordia. She led Misericordia to a MAC Freedom championship game appearance in 2023, as well as winning records and postseason appearances three times. Three of her players, including the school record holder, rank in Misericordia's top 10 in career points. She also coached the players who set the single-season records for assists and draw controls per game.
Hinkle's familiarity with Division II and the PSAC runs deep. She started her collegiate coaching career as an assistant coach at Shippensburg. From 2018 through the 2021 season, Hinkle worked closely with the team's defense and goalkeepers. Hinkle also coached goalies for NEMS Lacrosse Club for two years.
Hinkle was also a successful student-athlete at Wingate. She was a goalie for three seasons before shifting to a defensive role as a senior. She earned SAC Defensive Player of the Week honors twice and All-SAC Honorable Mention.
