Daniel Tecce was named Millersville University's strength and conditioning coach in the summer of 2024. Familiar with the PSAC landscape, Tecce has experience at Mercyhurst and Kutztown.Â
Tecce came to Millersville after two years as the strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Mercyhurst University, where he also earned a master's degree in organizational leadership. With the Lakers, Tecce worked directly with the softball, men's and women's lacrosse, tennis, and water polo teams. He simultaneously worked at ESN Fitness training youth, high school and collegiate athletes.Â
Before arriving in Erie, Tecce worked the summer of 2022 at Texas Christian University as a strength and conditioning intern with basketball, volleyball, baseball and swimming. From 2021 to 2022, Tecce worked with cheerleading, golf, softball, football and men's lacrosse as a strength and conditioning apprentice at Robert Morris University.Â
As an undergraduate student at Kutztown, Tecce assisted with the strength and conditioning efforts of eight teams while managing the field hockey, cheerleading and wrestling programs.Â
Tecce earned a bachelor's degree in sports management from Kutztown in 2021.Â
