Brad Shaeffer, a 2021 graduate of Slippery Rock, joined the Millersville football coaching staff as the offensive line coach prior to the 2024 season.
Shaeffer came to Millersville after serving two seasons as his alma mater's tight ends coach. He also served as a student intern while completing his bachelor's degree in exercise science.
In his two seasons as tight ends coach, he produced two All-PSAC West selections, and Kam Kruzelyak was named all-region in 2023. He was part of a staff in 2023 that helped Slippery Rock win the PSAC West.
As a student-athlete, Shaeffer played in 17 games as an offensive lineman over three seasons, helping Slippery Rock to 32 wins and two NCAA playoff appearances.
