Baillie Versfeld, a standout player at James Madison, joined the Millersville coaching staff in 2016 after spending the previous nine years coaching at the collegiate level. In year one with the Marauders, Versfeld helped the team to a PSAC Championship and a NCAA Semifinals appearance.
Versfeld, a 2007 graduate of James Madison, was a two-time All-American, three-time team captain and four-time All-Colonial Conference selection for the Dukes. She was voted the 2005-06 James Madison Female Athlete of the Year after leading her team to the NCAA Tournament.
Versfeld was also a member of the Zimbabwe National Team from 2001-07, winning the team MVP award in 2001 and serving as team captain for three years. As a coach, Versfeld most recently served the 2015 season as the graduate assistant at Ball State University and spent the spring as the USFHA Region 7A Futures coach, teaching some of the top players in Maryland and Delaware.Â

Following her stellar playing career, Versfeld entered the coaching ranks in 2007 as an assistant coach at Miami University. She served as recruiting coordinator for the RedHawks until 2009 when she returned to her alma mater.
As an assistant coach at James Madison, Versfeld was integral in the team's recruiting efforts and off-the-field development. She served in that role until 2013 when she became the graduate assistant at Division III Stevenson. At Stevenson, she earned a master's degree in business technology management. She was a part of a 2014 club that won an ECAC Championship. After two seasons at Stevenson, Versfeld moved to Ball State where she worked with recruiting, compliance, practice plans, goalkeeper training and video analysis.
Versfeld also worked as a Let's Play USA camp manager from 2009-2012.
