2020 Millersville alum Jimmy Cain joined the coaching staff as its director of player development prior to the 2022 season. Cain held the same position at Gardner-Webb in 2021. Â
Before graduating with a degree in economics, Cain enjoyed an outstanding four-year career with the Marauders, hitting .286 with 126 career RBIs, starting 159 games at third base and first base. His senior season of 2020 was cut short because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cain hit over .300 in both 2018 and 2020, helped the team to a 2019 PSAC East title and to three NCAA Tournament appearances.Â
As a Marauder, Cain was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete.Â
