2020 (Senior)

• Opened the 2020 season with a massive three-run home run at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas vs. Arkansas Tech in the 7-2 victory
• Finished the season with ten hits, six runs scored, nine RBIs, three doubles, and three stolen bases
• Won the starting job in left field, playing sixteen games (starting fifteen) in the outfield
• Had a four-game hitting streak to open the season.
• Season was shortened due to coronavirus pandemic

2019 (Junior)

• Hit by a pitch against Goldey-Beacom on March 9 and broken bone in hand caused him to miss nearly two months of the season
• Was hitting .296 with nine runs scored through first 12 games
• Returned on April 27 against East Stroudsburg
• Played in seven of the final 14 games
• Went 1-for-3 in the PSAC Tournament opener against Seton Hill.
• Named PSAC Scholar-Athlete

2018 (Sophomore)

• Played in all 57 games and was fourth on the team with 55 starts
• All starts came in left field
• Ranked third on the team in batting average (.311) and was second on the team and fourth in the PSAC with 19 stolen bases (in 22 attempts)
• Fourth on the team with 16 multi-hit games
• Drove in two or more runs eight times
• Hit .444 against left-handed pitching
• Hit .388 with runners on base and .387 with runners in scoring position
• With a runner on third and less than two outs, drove in the run eight times in nine opportunities
• Second on the team with 18 two-out RBIs
• Second on the team with a .304 average against the PSAC East
• One of the Marauders' top performers in their postseason run, going 12 for 31 (.387) with a .457 OBP (third on the team)
• Closed the season with a hit in five consecutive games
• Went 11 for 21 in the NCAA Atlantic Regional
• Went 2 for 3 with a steal against Charleston
• Hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th in an elimination game against Shepherd
• Went 4-for-5 with a RBI and run scored in the game
• Had a hit, RBI and run scored against West Chester
• Drove in four runs in a 3 for 6 effort in the second game against Charleston
• Went 1 for 3 with a double in the elimination game against Seton Hill
• Scored a season-high three runs against Lake Erie on Feb. 24
• Stole two bases against Seton Hill (March 17) and against Shippensburg (April 4)
• Swiped three bags at West Chester on April 14

2017 (Freshman)

• Started 36 games in left field and played in 46
• Led all freshmen with a .270 average
• Posted a .328 OBP
• Scored 18 runs and drove in 13
• Closed the season by reaching base in six consecutive games and riding a four-game hitting streak
• Hit majority of the season (31 games) in the No. 7 spot in the lineup
• Team went 22-11 with him starting in left field
• Went 5-for-14 (.357) against left-handed pitching
• Reached base in 11 of 24 opportunities (.458) as the leadoff hitter
• Earned the opening day start and recorded a hit in each of his first two games
• Seven-game hitting streak posted from Feb. 18-March 4, going 10-for-21 in that stretch, upping his average to .400 at the time
• Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs a double and two runs against ESU on April 14
• Recorded a hit in all three games of the NCAA regional
• Drove in two runs against Mercyhurst

• Named All-Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division First Team and All-Public Opinion
• Hit .356 as a senior and tied a school record with a 15-game hitting streak

• Son of Andy and Nicole Brookens
• Has one older sister (Maddy)
• Father was an All-America shortstop at Shippensburg University and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals
• Mother also graduated from Shippensburg
• Uncle, Tom Brookens, played for the Detroit Tigers
• Majoring in business administration management
