2013 (Game-by-Game): Delivered arguably the greatest pitching season in Millersville history...Became the first Millersville Marauder ever named All-America First Team and the first ever selected as the PSAC East Pitcher of the Year...Named NCBWA All-America First Team, ABCA All-America Third Team and Daktronics All-America Honorable Mention...Unanimous Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year, taking the award in the ABCA, NCBWA and Daktronics voting...All-Atlantic Region First Team pick by all three organizations and All-PSAC East First Team selection...Made Division II history with the program's first-ever perfect game on March 15...Blanked Clarion on just 64 pitches...Started the game with three consecutive strikeouts and 11 of the first 12 pitches were strikes...Finished with six K's...It marked just the 18th perfect game in Division II history, the first since 2009 and the first by a PSAC pitcher since 1999...If that weren't enough, two starts prior on Feb. 24, he threw a no-hitter against Glenville State, striking out 13 and coming within one fielding error of a perfect game...Struck out seven of nine batters between the fourth and sixth innings...His 13 K's in a seven-inning game were the most by a PSAC pitcher since 2005...64 of 84 pitches were strikes...Named NCBWA Division II Pitcher of the Week following the no-hitter on Feb. 28 and again on March 20 following the perfect game effort...Selected as the NCBWA Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week in back-to-back weeks in February and three times total on the season...Named PSAC East Pitcher of the Week on March 4 and March 18...Chosen as a Tino Martinez Award Semifinalist...Set Millersville single-season records in victories (12), games started (15), complete games (8), shutouts (5), innings pitched (102.0) and strikeouts (96)...Did not allow a run over a 25.1 inning stretch from March 15-April 6, coming within 2.1 consecutive scoreless innings of the PSAC record and within two of the Millersville record...Led the PSAC and tied for fifth in Division II in wins...Ranked 24th in Division II with a 0.97 WHIP...Ranked second in the PSAC and four nationally with 96 strikeouts...Tied for 12th in Division II in games started...Ranked 42nd in Division II in hits allowed per nine innings...Absolutely dominating against the PSAC East, posting a 6-0 record with five complete games and a 1.33 ERA in six starts and 40.2 innings pitched...Struck out 35, threw two shutouts and surrendered only a .204 batting average against in the six starts...Right-handers hit just .177 (50-for-283) against him...Held teams to a .208 average with two outs...Surrendered a team-low 1.94 walks per nine innings...Allowed only 13 extra base hits...Pitched at least 5.2 innings in all 15 starts...Struck out at least five batters 13 times...Allowed no more than two runs in 11 starts...Started the season with a win in each of the first four starts...Topped Winston-Salem in debut by allowing two runs and striking out six over six innings...Handed No. 6 West Florida its first loss of the season on Feb. 17 by striking out eight and allowing two runs on four hits over seven innings...Tossed the no-hitter at Glenville State on Feb. 24...Bounced back from a loss to Philadelphia with a perfect game against Clarion on March 15...That began a streak of three consecutive complete-game shutouts in which he surrendered only six hits over 21 innings...Threw a four-hit shutout against IUP on March 23 and a two-hit shutout against Bloomsburg on March 30...Surrendered only one run on five hits and struck out four in a complete game against Shippensburg on April 6...Held nationally-ranked Kutztown to just one run over 5.2 innings and struck out six to improve to 9-1...Scored 10th win over the season with a three-hit shutout of Mansfield on April 21...Beat West Chester on April 27 by allowing two earned runs (four total) on eight hits over seven innings...Closed the regular season with an eight strikeout effort at East Stroudsburg on May 4...That win boosted his record to 12-1...Started the PSAC Tournament game against Gannon and did not allow a hit through 7.2 innings and threw eight scoreless innings...Surrendered five runs in the ninth and took a no decision after Millersville won the bottom of the ninth...Started against Shippensburg in the NCAA Atlantic Regional and gave up four runs on 11 hits in a 4-1 loss.
