Logan Wagner Shines With Top Five Finish For Millersville

GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Logan Wagner led the Millersville University men's golf team to a tied third place finish in the WCU Battlefield Classic.
Wagner carded a 1-over par 73 to sit tied for third which is his best round this season.
"Logan had a strong showing, adding another top 5 finish to the season," said head coach Matt Shur. "He had 4 birdies in a row early in the day and was very close to one of those special rounds."
Lawson Leeper and Brady Wager also placed inside the top 20 after the first and what would be the only round, each shooting 5-over par to tie for 18th. Jon Breinich and Carson DiBiaso finished 6-over par and tied for 25th. Â
Cole Duffy, who finished first at the Husky Fall Invitational, shot a 10-over par 82, which put him tied for 38th. Â Carson Holmes shot independently but finished 13-over par to tie for 46th.

The Marauders' next event is in Johnstown, Pa in the Sunnehanna Collegiate Invitational Monday, Sept. 28, at noon.
