Duffy named PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - A stellar second round 68 propelled Cole Duffy to medalist honors at Bloomsburg's Collegiate Officials Challenge, and he was rewarded Wednesday with PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week honor.Â
Duffy finished the tournament in a tie for first at 1-over for 36 holes but was declared the winner on a tiebreaker. He rallied from a 5-over-par opening round by shooting a career-best 4-under in the second round. His day included six birdies, and he played the back nine in 3-under par.Â
Duffy's play rallied the Marauders from an 11-shot deficit to win, edging Chestnut Hill with a fifth card tiebreaker. It was the first tournament win for new head coach Matt Shur. Millersville shot a 2-over 290 as a team in the final round.Â
It was the first career win for Duffy, who is one of only two returners on the 2026-27 roster. He has finished in the top 10 of all three of the team's events this season.Â
