Softball set to open March 1 after weather delays

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville softball team will have to wait an additional five days to begin its season following the postponement of its Feb. 25 matchup against Holy Family.
The Marauders were also scheduled to face Lincoln University last week and host Holy Family in their home opener on Wednesday. However, mixed weather conditions across eastern Pennsylvania forced both doubleheaders to be postponed.
The doubleheader against Lincoln has been rescheduled for March 13, with a 1 p.m. start time on the road. The games against Holy Family have been moved to April 23, with a start time to be announced at a later date.
Millersville was originally slated to open the season against Goldey-Beacom, and that will once again be the case following the postponements. The Marauders are now set to begin the 2026 campaign on Sunday, March 1, with a 12 p.m. doubleheader at Seaber Softball Stadium.
