2026 PSAC Softball Preseason Poll
1/28/2026 2:30:00 PM | Softball
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its annual coaches poll for the upcoming softball season on Wednesday afternoon, and the Marauders came in at seventh in the PSAC East Division. East Stroudsburg was selected as the top team in the Eastern Division, while Slippery Rock earned the top spot in the Western Division.
The Marauders enter the 2026 season with renewed confidence after a difficult 2025 conference slate that saw them place eighth in the PSAC East with a 6–26 record. Millersville returns first-team All-PSAC East outfielder Jocelyn Langer, who led the offense as a freshman with a .406 batting average and a .972 OPS, along with second-team All-PSAC East utility player Carly Vaughan, who finished the year hitting .350. With the graduation of Kendra Bumgardner, the Marauders will look upon Jiana Maniscalco, Cameron Witte, Cara Mazzucco, and Allyson Black to take on expanded roles at the plate, while newcomers Cecilia McBeth, Ava Bainbridge, Jaylee Lose, and Jordyn Skarren look to contribute immediately in their first collegiate season.
In the circle, Millersville returns two of its top arm's from a year ago in senior Nicolina Pezzone and sophomore Delaney Troxell. Pezzone led the staff in 2025 with 111 innings pitched and a 9–8 record, while Troxell followed closely with 97 innings and a 7–11 mark. The Marauders will also look to underclassmen Skarren, Rebecca Opperman, and Ava Nelson to provide additional depth.
Millersville opens the 2026 season on February 8 at Seaber Softball Stadium with a doubleheader against Goldey-Beacom.
