COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Millersville University field hockey senior Emma Ruley was named to the NFHCA Watchlist as announced Thursday by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The 2025 Watchlist consists of 33 student-athletes from 16 Division II institutions. The list is intended to showcase those field hockey student-athletes with the strongest potential for consideration to the current year's NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams. To be nominated for this watchlist student-athletes must have been previously recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years (NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-American, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, and/or U.S. National or International Team roster) and nominated by their NFHCA member coach.
Ruley improved her offensive skill set in her junior year, in which she set career highs in goals (5), points (10), and shots (20). Ruley was named All-PSAC Second Team after her performance in the 2024 season. The highlight of the Marauders' 2024 season was Ruley's game-winning goal against ninth-ranked Mansfield.
The Marauders open their season Sept. 4 against Pace University at 2:30 p.m. in Pleasantville, N.Y.
