Peters wins third straight PSAC Athlete of the Week award

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Millersville sophomore Timothy Peters has been named the PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week for the third week in a row and the seventh time in his career.

Peters has competed in three events this spring and finished in no worse than a tie for first in all three. At this week's Abarta Coca-Cola Invitational, Peters and the Marauders competed against golfers from 15 Division I programs, and he nearly pulled off his third consecutive outright win. Peters finished at 4-under-par, shooting a 3-under 69 in the second round, matching the best round of the tournament by any golfer.

Peters competed in a sudden victory playoff against Merrimack's Kai-Jun Huang, coming up short of the victory on the first playoff hole.

Peters has finished no lower than fourth in Millersville's nine 2024-25 events. He is ranked No. 2 in the Atlantic Region, according to the official rankings by Clippd.
