
Kirby earns another top-10 finish for Marauders

FLEETWOOD, Pa. - Charley Kirby finished in a tie for fifth, leading Millersville's fourth-place finish at the Kutztown Spring Invitational on Sunday.
Kirby shot a 13-over 83 to finish in a three-way tie for fifth place, four strokes behind the leader. It marked Kirby's ninth top-10 finish in 11 events this season and it was her seventh in a row.
Kirby was the only Marauder to crack the top 10, and the team shot a 353 — its highest single-round total of the 2024-25 season. Alvernia won handily with a 327.
Emma Schotsch shot an 87 to place 14th. Sydney Barnes placed 21st, and Sabrina Swope and Amanda Wolf tied for 22nd in the 33-golfer field.
Millersville hosts its Millersville Spring Invitatioal on Saturday, April 12 at Tanglewood Golf Club.
