
Men's tennis' doubles play sets up win over Chestnut Hill

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. — The Millersville men's tennis team got back in the win column after defeating Chestnut Hill by the score of 4–3.
The Marauders started strong from the first serve, sweeping doubles play to emphatically take the opening point. Victor Suarez and Sandor Wulf finished their match first, beating Malik Siddharth and Alessio Lefevre 6–2. Next were Jasper de Koning and Paul Bagnouls, the Marauders second pairing, who won 6–3 over Menno Raeymaekers and Filippo Relecom. Millersville's top duo of Lino Morin and Sebas Castro wrapped up the first slate with a 6–4 victory over Ewan Brown and Pablo Cervera.
'Ville needed just three singles wins to clinch the dual, and Morin, de Koning, and Castro came through for the Marauders. Morin made easy work of Relecom, winning 6–2, 6–4, and de Koning breezed by Brown 6–1, 6–0. Castro was pushed a little bit in his second set, but still came away with a 6–2, 7–5 decision to get the Marauders the win.
Millersville improved to 6–5 overall and will jump back into conference play against Kutztown next. The Marauders will take on the Golden Bears at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 5 in Kutztown, Pa..
