Marauders set program record with sixth win

STROUDSBURG, Pa. - Charley Kirby and the Millersville women's golf team are rolling into next weekend's PSAC Championship. Kirby won for the third time in six starts, and the Marauders set a program record with their sixth win of the season, taking Saturday's ESU Spring Invitational by 21 shots.
The Marauders have won four of their seven spring tournaments, and their 319 total on Saturday was their lowest score of the spring. All five Marauders in the lineup finished inside the top seven. Kirby led the way with a 4-over 76, matching her career's lowest score to par.
Emma Schotsch placed fourth with a 79, followed by Amanda Wolf (81), Sabrina Swope (82) and Lex Pfeufer (82).
Kirby is now tied with Danielle Greene (2015-16) for the second-most wins by a Marauder in a single season. Now a four-time winner, Kirby is fourth in career wins.
The three-day PSAC Championship runs from April 25-27 at Berkleigh Country Club in Kutztown.
