
WGCA recognizes Marauders for academic performance

FRISCO, Texas - Four members of the Millersville University women's golf program have been named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team for their high level academic achievements. The honorees include Erica Gerner, Lex Pfeufer, Ashden Stitt and Rachel Schuda.
To earn a spot on the WGCA All-American Scholar team, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and played in at least 50% of the team's competitive rounds during the 2025-26 season.
Gerner made an immediate impact on the golf course, posting four top 10 finishes and an 86.3 scoring average, which ranked second on the team. Gerner finished her freshman season with a 3.63 GPA as an elementary education major.
Pfeufer, a junior nuclear medicine major, produced a 3.71 GPA through the 2025-26 season. She played in 13 events and posted a 93.4 scoring average with two top 10 finishes.
Schuda, a freshman applied engineering major, recorded a 3.94 GPA in her first year on campus. She played in eight events and recorded a 93.1 scoring average with three top 10 finishes.
Stitt, a junior finance major, completed the season with a 3.60 GPA. Stitt played in all 13 events and led the team with an 86.0 scoring average and seven top 10 finishes.
As a team, the Marauders produced a collective 3.39 cumulative GPA.
