Kirk's big weekend lands him PSAC East Athlete of the Week honor

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Jimmy Kirk slugged Millersville to a series win over Mansfield, going 11 for 16 with two homers, a double, eight runs, and eight RBIs. On Monday, he was recognized as the PSAC Eastern Division Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career.
Kirk hit two home runs on Sunday, and his four-hit, five-RBI performance in game three helped Millersville score the fifth-most runs in PSAC history and set a Millersville record for runs in a division game. Kirk set career highs hits, runs and RBIs in game three.
Kirk produced at least two hits and scored a run in all four games. He was also perfect in 21 chances in the field playing first base. Since March 14, Kirk has hit a team-best .456 with a .508 on-base percentage, four home runs and 21 RBIs in 19 games.
