LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Marauders competed at two meets over four days this week, sending two athletes to the Messiah Multi and Invite, and the rest of the team to the Bucknell Bison Invite.

NOTABLE RESULTS
  • The week started with Sabela Zablackis taking part in the heptathlon at Messiah, finishing with 4,078 points. The total puts her in fourth place in the PSAC.

  • Sunday was a good day for the Marauders in the 400-meter dash, getting two improved PSAC times and a new conference qualifier as well. Jillian Sydnor and Shelby Derkosh came away with better times, finishing with times of 57.46 and 57.54, respectively. Additionally, Aubrey Sydnor punched her ticket back to the conference meet with a time of 58.99.
  • Seya Trujillo was able to hit a season-best distance in the hammer throw, maxing out with a mark of 166-2.
  • The Marauders crushed their previous best time in the 4x100-meter relay to end the Bucknell Bison Invite, clocking in with a time of 3:50.10. The team of Milan Snell, Jillian and Aubrey Sydnor, and Derkosh improved the team's time by nearly eight seconds.
